| Volunteers are an integral part of The Courtyard community.
There are men, women, and students who regularly visit our community,
providing comfort and companionship under the guidance of our Life
Enrichment Staff. The Courtyard’s volunteers include local
church members, clergy, pet owners, musicians, and school children.
During any holiday we are overjoyed with the number of children
and youth group members who visit and perform. Equally important
are those volunteers who spend time visiting with residents, reading
aloud, playing board games, and going on bus rides to the park,
lake or local restaurants.

(This is an organization for ladies over 55 who want to have fun
by having teas and luncheons where they wear red hats. The gentlemen
must wear fun ties! There is more but you have to be here to see
it!)
Volunteers bring their enthusiasm for life into The Courtyard.
Each resident’s life is enriched by interacting with new people
who are not part of their regular routine. We can ensure you that
after volunteering you will feel differently in a very special way.
