Services
Home Health Nurses are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to assist with questions and concerns about care and services.
- Professional Nursing (RN/LVN): The skilled nurse is an RN or LVN licensed by the state of Texas to provide nursing care. Each nurse is oriented and trained to provide nursing services in the home care environment.
- Wound & Ostomy Care: People with ostomies, fistulas, pressure ulcers and incontinence have very special needs. Skilled Nursing services are provided by well experienced wound care nurses. Services include: postoperative care of stomal patients, patient counseling, fistula care, incontinence management, wound care and pressure ulcer care.
- Medical Social Work & Counseling: Provides assistance with Advanced directives and community resources to assist client with care needs.
- Home Health Aide: Home Care Aide services are provided by unlicensed persons who are certified as home care aides: An RN prepares a personalized aide care plan taking into account the client’s needs, the client’s inability to perform the tasks, and the absence of a caregiver that is able and willing. We encourage client and family participation in the promotion of independence.
- Physical Therapy: Christian Care Home Health’s licensed physical therapists promote healing, improved movement and function. They help relieve pain for clients and help to achieve maximum function and safety in their home. Our therapists work with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, pulmonary, and cardiovascular conditions.
- Occupational Therapy: Christian Care Home Health’s licensed occupational therapists treat a variety of developmental, physical, emotional, and social issues. They enable our patients to achieve their highest level of function in their home to perform their activities of daily living.
- Speech Therapy: Specially trained in speech and swallowing disorders, our speech pathologists assist patients in regaining the ability to produce and understand speech, as well as swallowing assessment, training and skill acquisition. They treat a variety of impairments associated with neurological conditions (including head injury and strokes), hearing loss, head and neck surgery, and developmental disorders.
- Medical Equipment & Supplies: Are provided by a licensed Durable Medical Equipment company and are generally covered by the health insurance plan. Christian Care HH can assist you in setting up your Medical Equipment needs.
- IV Therapy: (by special arrangement)
- Laboratory Work & Home Testing PT/INR: Medical Conditions- Thrombotic Disorders and Oral anticoagulants.
