Employee of the 3rd Quarter, 2005
Bill Travis

Employee of the 2nd Quarter, 2005
Misty Tiner Hodges

Greenway residents and employees have voted and selected their Employee of the Quarter for the 2nd quarter of this year. Many were nominated and wonderful comments were made about all of our employees, but we are pleased to announce that this honor went to MISTY TINER HODGES from the Food Service Department. She has stood out over the past 3 months as being exceptional in service and friendliness. In a ceremony at lunch last week, Misty was awarded a plaque, which you can see in the Casual Café, a $100, and 3 free meal tickets to eat in the Greenway dining room. Way to go!

We hope you will congratulate Misty for her hard work and “service with a smile”! She will actually be leaving us soon to join her husband in Washington, so we wish her well.

Resident Services Coordinator
Greenway Village at Christian Care Center

In January 2004, Greenway Village implemented an "Employee of the Quarter" program. This was done to recognize and honor an outstanding employee for their hard work and dedication to Greenway. The residents are given ballots and asked to nominate the employee they think is most deserving of this award. They may choose employees from the office staff, food service, housekeeping, and maintenance departments. Greenway staff does not participate in the nomination process. The winner receives a $100 bill, 2 meal tickets, and their picture is put on a plaque and displayed in our Casual Café throughout the year.

The winner of our "Employee of the Quarter" for the third quarter of 2004 was Paul Skinner. Paul works in the Maintenance Department and helps with any repairs or maintenance issues that need attention. Paul has worked at Christian Care Center for 5 years. When asked, 'What is the best thing about working at Greenway?', he said, "working with the residents. They're great!"
