  1. Where are you located?
    In Mesquite near I-635and I-30. Please see "Location" section.
  2. How much does it cost to live there?
    Greenway Village has two costs - the Entry Fee which is guaranteed 90% refundable and a Monthly Service Fee. Both are based on the size of the apartment home and the number of occupants.
  3. Does the cost ever increase?
    Each year expenses are evaluated and if fees need to be adjusted to cover operational costs, increases usually occur in January and average 4%.
  4. How does the Refundable Entry Fee work?
    When you permanently leave your apartment home and a new resident submits a new Entry Fee and moves in, you or your estate receives 90% of the Entry Fee you paid.
  5. Are there any restrictions on the refund?
    There are no time limits or restrictions as to reason associated with the refund, be it personal or medical. Apartments must be resold to new residents and closing and/or move in must occur before
    the refund is received as listed above.
  6. Do you have other healthcare available?
    Yes. Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Alzheimer care, and home health care are all available on the Mesquite campus.
  7. What is a "Continuing Care Retirement Community"? (CCRC)
    This is a community that has received this special designation from the State. This title certifies that all 3 levels of care are available on the same property.
  8. Are you affiliated with any certain church?
    Christian Care Center is the sponsor of Greenway Village. CCC is supported by individual donors, charitable foundations, and churches of Christ. We do not discriminate against any potential or existing resident based on faith or religious belief.
  9. What size floor plans do you offer?
    Greenway offers six different floor plans, both one and two bedroom, ranging from approximately 600 to 1,300 square feet.
  10. Is there a waiting list?
    The Greenway The Greenway Premier Club is the official waiting list. Several styles currently have a waiting list associated with it. Please call 972.698.2600 for availability.
  11. What services and amenities do you offer?

  12. Do you accept Medicare / Medicaid?
    All Greenway residents are required to carry Medicare A and B and a supplemental insurance policy or the equivalent. Medicaid does not apply to Greenway residents.
  13. How does the Long Term Care Benefit apply if I have a LTC insurance policy?
    They easily work together to reduce your expenses for additional care. The Greenway Long Term Care Benefit is a total of $12,000 paid out as $500/month credits over a maximum of 24 months.
  14. What is the difference between Greenway and Hartin/McMillan apartments?
    Greenway is a 90% Refundable Entry Fee CCRC (see #7 above). It offers a full array of services and amenities which include a meal plan, weekly housekeeping and linen laundry, utilities, transportation, planned activities, a Long Term Care Benefit, and more. These benefits are all a part of Greenway's "all-inclusive" Monthly Service Fee.

    Hartin and McMillan are rental apartments with a limited amount of services included. Additional services are available for a fee if the resident wants or needs them.
