1. What is the size of each Howard Apartment unit?

2. Is government financial assistance available?
A. No, but our pricing is extremely competitive. Howard Apartments provide the water, sewage and antenna hook up

3. May I have pets?
A. It is our policy not to allow pets. The close neighbors make this policy a must. We have found that our current residents prefer the grounds and apartments with this policy in place

4. Is there covered parking?
A. No, not at this time.

5. Are the apartments considered “assisted living”?
A. No, they are independent living.

6. Are there age restrictions?
A. Yes, you must be 62 years of age or older. IF a couple is moving into the apartments, at least one of the two must be 62 years of age or older.

7. Are there amenities?
A. Yes, Howard Apartment residents have priority for admittance to Hilltop Haven Nursing Facility. Meals are available in the dining room for $3.50 each, or delivered to your apartment for $5.00. Housekeeping services are available at a $7.00 an hour rate. Maintenance services are provided.
B. Transportation to the grocery store will be provided every other week.
C. Transportation to doctors is available at a $10.00 charge per trip. Medications may be delivered to the Nursing Facility for apartment residents to pick up.
D. Church services are within walking distance.

8. Do you have a waiting list?
A. From time to time we have a short waiting list.

9. Do I sign a lease agreement or contract?
A. No, only a move-in agreement.

10. Are the apartments all single story?
A. Yes, they are built into pods or units. There are 4 to 5 neighbors that share a common courtyard.
