Spiritual Wellness

Residents, on all three of our campuses, tell us that the Christian environment and lifestyle plus the fact that we are faith-based greatly influenced their decision to make Christian Care Centers their home. We truly want every resident to feel that “it is well with my soul.” Whereas Christian Care Centers was founded on the principles and precepts of the Church of Christ, all faiths are welcome at our campus church services on Sunday mornings and Sunday and Wednesday evenings, and the scheduled weekly Bible study classes in all retirement areas. Each resident is encouraged to experience God’s natural handiwork at its most beautiful on our campuses, with lakes, mature trees, fountains, walking paths, fish ponds, and beautifully landscaped golf course views. Ministers on each campus are available for grief counseling, with our Soft-Touch Ministry, remembrance gatherings, funerals, and just ‘plain’ conversation. Our Elders have put it this way: “By the grace of God, we seek to imitate our Lord Jesus Christ by obeying His word and following His example in daily life. It is our fervent prayer that we might do good unto all people, especially to show compassion to those in need, both physically and spiritually, to encourage the weak, and to challenge each individual to reach his or her full potential of Christian maturity. We wish, also, to send the glorious light of the gospel of Christ into the hearts of as many people as possible as we look for the blessed appearing of our Lord in the hope of eternal glory with Him and all the redeemed.” Wellness of the soul is a core ingredient of Christian Care Centers Mission.
